STOLEN CREDIT CARDS/WALLET/HANDBAG/PASSPORT?
Credit card or wallet stolen, here is how to block the card and report missing items.
First call: 902 192 100 and block your credit card for further use.
Then call 902 102 112 Denuncias Telefónicas C.N. and ask to speak to an English operator.
Describe the incident and they will give you a reference number.
Within the next 48 hours, you will have to go to Estepona Police Station to sign and pick up a copy of the report.
This document is important for your insurance company and for possible future reference.

LOCAL BUSES
Estepona's new Bus Station opened in July 2014 and is located next door to the Exhibition and Congress Centre on Avenida del Litoral just beyond Carrefour hypermarket on the eastern link to the A-7 coast road 1km east of town center. The new building houses the ticket office, toilets and waiting room only. No cafeteria but there are vending machines. The office is open 06.30 to 13.50 hrs and 14.00hrs to 21.45 hrs. Unless you are staying close by, and especially if you have heavy suitcases, you should catch the local urban L1 or L2 buses from here to the town centre. Unfortunately the bus station sits midway between two stops ( McDonalds & Carrefour) on the Estepona Port to Marbella L79 bus route. There is a taxi rank behind the bus station.
On local buses dogs are not welcome.

AIRPORT BUSES
There are only a few trips between Airport directly to Estepona per day. Alternatively you take the Airport bus to Marbella and from there taxi or local bus to Estepona.

AIRPORT BUSES MALAGA TO MARBELLA
There is a frequent direct coach service from/to Marbella Bus Station to/from Malaga Airport operated by the Avanza Portillo Bus Company.
This comfortable coach costs 6,15 euro, and takes approx 45 minutes non stop. Passengers should place their larger luggage items in the compartment under the bus.
At Malaga airport buy a ticket from the office located in the open square just outside the arrivals exit. At Marbella bus station buy a ticket from the Portillo sales office; beware there can be a queue. At Malaga Airport the ticket sales are just outside the exit door. It is not possible to by tickets ombord the bus.
Summer service
In the Summer (about May to September) the first bus arrives at Malaga Airport from Marbella at about 06.45 hrs (unfortunately not in time for the first 25 flights) and the last bus leaves Malaga airport for Marbella at 23.45 hrs (unfortunately not in time for the last 25 flights), with sixteen irregular times departures in between.
